The
night before the big day has arrived! We are finally ready and are planning to
leave Marina San Carlos tomorrow by noon. We are headed to Bahia Concepcion,
which lies just south of Mulege. It’s supposed to be one of the most beautiful
spots in Baja. We are hoping to catch a glimpse of the two Whale Sharks, who
have supposedly made it their home, and possibly swim with them.
From
here to Bahia Concepcion is about a 20-hour journey. It will not only be our
first sail of the season but also our first overnighter. Tonight will also be
our first night sleeping on the boat. We have been sleeping in our RV up until now.
But this afternoon we dropped off the RV at Ed and Dorothy’s RV & Boat
Storage until the end of April. No turning back now.
Parked at the RV Storage. Guard dog already on duty. |
Harley is feeling comfortable already…loving life on the boat. |
The
last two days have been like spinning plates on sticks trying to get ready for
tomorrow. So I haven’t had time to finish the blog I was working on. We will be without Internet for a
while. So, when we do, I will get you caught up on the couple of week span
between the last blog up ‘till today.

As
always, thank you for following along!
Fair winds, friends!
